Information for the parents of Trinity College students and prospective students:
Trinity College seeks to develop and nurture relationships with the parents of its students, serving as a resource and providing information on how to help their sons and daughters deal with their increasing independence and self-reliance.
Information about visiting Duke and Durham, admissions, financial aid, registration, residential life, and Parents’ and Family Weekend are available through a variety of offices, whose Web links are shown below. In addition, we have included links for academic information that you may find helpful.
You have ahead of you the demanding task of letting your daughter or son find her or his own way. Which is not to say that you should not or cannot be involved in your child’s college life. We urge you to contact Duke’s Parent & Family Programs, which sponsors the Duke Parents Advisory Council and publishes the dukeParents newsletter, among other activities.
