Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center is located on Duke's East Campus, which is home to first-year students.
The deans and staff in the Academic Advising Center coordinate advising activities and monitor the academic progress of Trinity College students who have yet to choose a major.
The Advising Center building also houses the Focus Program, Duke's signature first-year seminar program; the undergraduate writing tutors of the Writing Studio, and the Academic Resource Center, including the Academic Skills Instructional Program (ASIP), the Peer Tutoring Program, and the Program for Students with Disabilities. First-year and sophomore students planning on pursuing a health profession also receive specialized prehealth advising in the Advising Center.
