Academic Deans

The academic deans are the college officers who implement and review academic policies as put forth by university faculty. They work with students and student records to monitor a student's progress toward the degree, give final approval for transfer credit, consult with students on academic problems and opportunities, award semester honors, and certify graduation.

The academic deans direct and coordinate college programs, including premajor and preprofessional advising; Program II and Undergraduate Research Support; Study Abroad, Summer Session and Continuing Education; and Curriculum and Courses Development.
