Education Records: FERPA
Policy
In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (also known as FERPA or the Buckley Amendment), Duke University generally permits students to inspect their education records and protects the information from disclosure to third parties without the student's consent. There are certain implications for instructors.
