Mary Nijhout
Senior Associate Dean of Trinity College

Mary Nijhout is senior associate dean of Trinity College and director of the Undergraduate Research Support Office. She serves as the academic dean for students majoring in biology, computer science, and statistics.

She is also the pregraduate advisor in Trinity College. Dean Nijhout is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Biology.

Dean Nijhout earned the AB degree from Wells College, Aurora, NY, and the MS and PhD degrees from Harvard University. Her postdoctoral training was at the National Institutes of Health and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Lee W. Willard
Senior Associate Dean for Academic Planning

Lee Willard serves as senior associate dean for academic planning, Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, Duke University. Her main areas of responsibility include academic planning, programmatic development, and institutional proposal development.

Dr. Willard holds a BA magna cum laude from Agnes Scott College and a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She held a postdoctoral fellowship at the William Andrews Clark Library, UCLA and is an alumna of Harvard University’s Management Development Program.

In addition to consulting for a variety of colleges and universities, she serves on the national advisory boards of Project Kaleidoscope (Washington, DC) and the Reinvention Center (Stony Brook, NY).

Gerald Wilson
Senior Associate Dean of Trinity College

Gerald Wilson serves as senior associate dean of Trinity College and the academic dean for students majoring in history and political science. He also directs the Prelaw Advising Center, serves as associate university marshal, and is an adjunct professor in the Department of History.

Dean Wilson holds an AB (Davidson College), BD (Duke Divinity School), MA (Duke University), Ph. D (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill).
