Kanye 101: Our Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

This course is an overview of the history of popular icons and their influence on social norms, contextualized in the legacy of Kanye West and the psychological dispositions that have contributed to his success. We will focus on contemporary environments that explore how the sociological stresses placed on those with visible lives are not top different from those encountered by students on a daily basis. The course will interweave core principles from multiple disciplines and encourage students to embody their inner Kanye.
