The Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) and Shiv Nadar University (SNU) have entered into a collaboration to establish a ‘Center for Gifted Education’ under the aegis of the School of Education at Shiv Nadar University,
The center will be dedicated to support the identification and enrichment of India’s academically-gifted students by designing and implementing specific programs for gifted students as well as for educators, and also by conducting much needed research in the area.
Focused on identifying and supporting India’s intellectually gifted youth, the center will provide opportunity for bright students regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion or geography. Duke TIP and Shiv Nadar University envision the collaboration will leverage the collective organizational strengths to meet this need.
Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is a merit based university and focuses on research oriented, multidisciplinary education. One of the key objectives of the University is therefore to attract the most meritorious students as they enhance the learning curve of the entire University.
