  • Research Description

My primary line of research examines the impact of public- and private- benefits on life course transitions and trajectories. My primary focus is on how these benefits impact the domains of work, wealth, health, and mortality, as well as how these benefits work through one domain to influence other domains. I am concerned with both the proximal and distal consequences of benefits -- particularly in terms of private benefits – as well as how the impact of these benefits changes over time and how the effects differ across cohorts.
