Education, Impeachment, & Domestic Work in Brazil

Dr. Bryan Pitts and several Duke undergraduate students tackle issues that present themselves in daily Brazilian political and social life. The presentations range from discussions on marginalized domestic workers, who are largely women, in Brazil to thoughts on the country's opportunities through free higher education, which is still inaccessible to many.

The Global Brazil Lab aims to generate new conversations between the humanities, the social sciences, and the sciences by including students in research focused on Brazilian arts, social movements, and natural environment.
