Antonio Lopez - Humanity in Action John Lewis Fellow

Antonio Lopez, Duke 2016, is among the inaugural group of fellows for the new Humanity in Action John Lewis Fellowship. Lopez is double majoring in Literature and African and African American Studies with a certificate in Latino/a Studies in the Global South. Named after the famed U.S. Representative and Civil Rights Movement leader, the John Lewis Fellowship gathers young civil rights activists in Atlanta, this July, to focus on civil rights, race and immigration. Lopez shares the family history that drives him and his human rights and intellectual work as a Duke student.
