Biology Major with a Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology; Minor in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

Hi! My name is Abby, and I am a biology major intending to pursue a Ph.D. after undergrad. I spent a lot of my time working in my lab where I study rare kinases in prostate cancer. I’ve also had the opportunity to work in cell biology and MGM labs during my time at Duke. I participated in the Duke Graduate School Summer Research Opportunity Program and will present at the ACC Meeting of the Minds conference this year. I am the President of the Biology Majors Union, Project Director for Project S.E.E.D, and participated in the Genetics and Genomics FOCUS program. I’m also a Computational Biology and Theatre Studies minor. In my free time, I love to work out, hang out with my friends, bake, watch a good movie, or walk around campus.
