Biology Major with a Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology; Minor in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

During my first semester at Duke I was part of the Genetics and Genomics FOCUS cluster. I currently serve as the treasurer for the Biology Majors Union. Additionally, I am a research assistant in a cancer biology lab where I'm working towards more independent research! After college I plan on working towards a PhD. Outside of biology I’m involved in club jiu jitsu, a member of Delta Gamma, and a blogger for the Duke Medical Ethics Journal. In my free time I like to listen to music, go to the gym, bake, and write!
