Class of 2024
Major in Political Science; Minor in History; Certificate in Politics, Economics and Philosophy
I am a senior from New York City majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. At Duke, I serve on the council of American Grand Strategy (AGS) and am a member of Business Oriented Women. I spent last summer in Washington, DC, where I worked as a strategy analyst at Renaissance Strategic Advisors, a boutique Aerospace and Defense consulting firm. After graduation, I plan to work in consulting before pivoting to law! I am incredibly passionate about foreign policy and national security, so I am hoping to become a national security lawyer. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have about Duke's Political Science department, AGS, or Duke generally!
Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke was Ethics of War with Professor Kirshner. I took this course during my freshman fall, and halfway through the semester, I decided I wanted to study Political Science at Duke--a decision I have not regretted since. I loved thinking through the challenging ethical questions and gaining a nuanced understanding of the existential decisions world leaders must make in safeguarding their territory.
