English Major; Minors in Latin and Creative Writing

I am a varsity athlete on the Duke Fencing Team, an ambassador for the English department, and an active member of Christian ministries on campus. My academic dreams are to do research in English as a graduate student; furthermore, I would love to earn a PhDin English and/or Latin. I hope to one day use these skills to inspire others to learn and enjoy literature just as much as I do by being a teacher or professor. An award I received was the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year, and I was nominated for the Faculty Scholars Award.
