Hi! My name is Brooke Sevchik, I’m a Neuroscience and Spanish major from Charlotte, NC. At Duke I do research on cognitive control in a neuroscience lab, work as a tour guide, and am on the exec board for Neurocare. I am interested in the neuroscience behind second language acquisition, the intersection between neuroscience and nutrition, and the ways that anxiety affects cognition. In my free time I love walking in the Duke gardens, traveling, going to gym classes, and reading at the beach.
