This course is meant to help prepare Benjamin Newton Scholars for their Carolina Summer of Service (CSOS) and on a broader scale help BN first years develop their personal ethos for service. The instructors are sophomore BN Scholars who have been through their own house course and CSOS. In the course, we will discuss what it means to be with community, be of service to that community, and how to negotiate dynamics of service in the Carolinas.
