This course seeks to provide students with the soft skills necessary for future success in the financial industry with an emphasis placed on investment banking. This course will cover a number of topics from learning to build a sound business network to understanding how to tailor one’s experiences for interviews to grasping the importance of coffee chats and email etiquette. An understanding of the fundamental soft skills required for the next steps in the financial realm will be complemented by an inside-look into both the course instructors and guest speakers’ personal experiences on the desk of some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Open to freshmen only.
