Paradoxes: An Exploration of Problems in Philosophy and Beyond
Mondays, 8:00 – 9:30 PM, Few HH 101
This class explores fundamental problems in philosophy by looking at paradoxes and puzzles. Undergraduates will gain exposure to interesting topics in philosophy in a fun and accessible way. More importantly, they will learn how these fundamental issues relate to various aspects of our world—from scientific reasoning, to personal identity, to the nature of space and time. This course will not answer all of these questions, but it will give students a place to start thinking about these important topics.
