Women in Politics

This course will foster a dialogue about the history of women in American politics, the specific effects of certain legislation on women, and the contemporary contributions of female-identifying candidates and elected officials. In this course, we will also discuss the role of race, religion, class, sexuality, disability, and other identities in conversations about women in politics.
