Major in Biology (Pharmacology Concentration); Minors in Chemistry and Sociology

In addition to taking courses, I work in Dr. Chantell Evans' cell biology lab, studying mitochondrial quality control in neurons and neurodegenerative disease. I am also heavily involved in the music scene at Duke, playing drums for the Duke University Pep/Marching Band and Jazz Ensemble. After graduating from Duke, I intend to pursue my PhD in biology or a related field, and continue to be involved in research studying neurodegeneration and cancer. Aside from academics, I love to watch and play basketball (fan of Duke and the Chicago Bulls), listen to music (anything from Kendrick Lamar to Metallica to Miles Davis), and watch movies (some of my favorites are Moonlight, Parasite, Whiplash, and The Dark Knight)!
