Major in Computer Science and Linguistics; Minor in Italian Studies
I am a junior from Lexington, Kentucky. On campus, I am the president of Inside Joke and the Crowell Quad Council, and I am involved in Cru and Club Triathlon. I also work for Language Central and the Trinity Language Council. After college, I hope to work in the software industry with a focus on language technology.
Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke was Italian 203 with Pierpaolo Spagnolo. I enjoyed the way the class combined both intermediate-level grammar and culture. It was very rewarding to speak and write Italian at a higher level, and the emphasis on culture furthered my understanding of the language. This was the class that convinced me to pursue a minor in Italian Studies!
