Neuroscience Major on Pre-medicine track; Minors in Dance and Linguistics

I am a dancer of over 17 years having studied many techniques including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. Duke has broadened my outlook on dance not only within the studio as I began studying dance on the academic front. I am on StreetMedicine, Duke's street style dance team and have been able to perform in various school throughout Durham. Additionally, I am an artist and pianist and was able to paint the Duke basketball my freshman year, 2020. Lastly, I was recently awarded the Benenson Award for the arts for my upcoming research in Uganda on Sickle Cell.
