Class of 2025
Major in Economics with Finance Concentration
I am an Economics major at Duke born and raised in Bangalore, a city in southern India. My professional interests include all things finance, and next summer I will be interning at J.P Morgan as an investment banking summer analyst. At Duke I am involved in several finance and non-finance organizations like the Economics Student Union (ESU), Duke Impact Investing Club, Chess Club, and Club Soccer. In my free time I love watching and playing soccer, working out, and gardening.
Favorite Class: The first-year seminar "Archaeology of Death" taught by professor Alicia Jiménez is undoubtedly the most interesting class I've ever taken. Through engaging discussions we explored the remains of ancient funerary rituals that revealed the complex relationships between memory, ancestry, religion, and societal structures. My favorite part of the class were the bi-weekly archaeological field trips we had to graveyards, museums and other burial sites in the RDU area.
