Majors in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering; Minor in Chemistry

I am a 4th year student originally from Seattle, WA. Here at Duke, I conduct research in the medical school and serve as an admissions ambassador/tour guide. In my free time, I like to cook and read! I conducted research in Germany for this past summer as a DAAD-RISE Fellow, researching computational protein design. In the future, I am interested in pursuing an MD/PhD program, eventually running my own research lab and practicing as a radiation oncologist.

Favorite Class:  Favorite class thus far at Duke has been BME 305 Molecular Engineering! This class focuses on wet lab research techniques and gives students the opportunity to pursue their a research project throughout the semester. The professors were really fun and did their best to make the class interesting and fun!
