Director of the Cardea Fellows Program and pre-health advisor. Academic Dean for Trinity transfer students.
I grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and I hold dual citizenship from the United Kingdom and the USA. I attended Virginia Tech for my undergraduate career and I received a BS in Biochemistry. I continued my education in Washington, DC at Georgetown University, where my research focused on the nicotinic receptor and I earned my PhD in Neuropharmacology. Before coming to Duke University, I was an associate professor of biology and directed a pre-health post-baccalaureate program at Meredith College. I joined Duke in 2019 with the Academic Resource Center as a Learning Consultant and director of SAGE before becoming an Academic Dean. In my free time, I enjoy running and traveling with my husband and two daughters.
