Class of 2025
Major in International Comparative Studies, focus in Latin America and the Caribbean
This academic year, I will be a captain for Duke’s highly competitive mock trial team, where I will engage with a simulated legal case and mentor first-years who are new to the program. In addition to my involvement in Duke Mock Trial, I've had the pleasure of working at the front desk for the Office of Student Affairs, an experience that has allowed me to connect with my peers, offer assistance, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our university community. Another significant role I hold is the presidency of The Growing Club, a volunteer organization dedicated to mentoring middle schoolers. Through this, I've witnessed firsthand the impact of mentorship on young minds and the importance of cultivating leadership skills from a young age.
Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke, so far, has been ICS195: Comparative Approaches to Global Issues. This class introduced me to the ICS department and connected me with students of all ages, majors, and interests.
