Class of 2026
Major in Program II: Character Studies: Personality, Storytelling, and Embodiment

I am a multimedia artist hoping to become a character designer at an animation or game studio. I'm largely involved in the theatre community at Duke, with 5 Hoof 'n' Horn shows under my belt and almost enough Theater Studies courses for a major. I do visual art for my work-study at the Innovation Co-Lab, as well as game art and design for Duke Programming, Arts, and Design (DPAD). I also play saxophone for a band called Solfish (@solfishticated on Instagram, shameless plug). I enjoy good food, animated movies and shows, and late-night existential conversations.

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke was Playmaking with Jeff Storer and Neal Bell. The class was workshop-based, consisting of playwrights and actors/directors, and each week the writers would share new scripts and the actors/directors would rehearse and showcase previous weeks' scripts. The professors were amazing, my peers were super inspiring, and I created work I was and still am very proud of.
