Hi! My name is Bejthara Mauvais and I’m from Florida! I intend to major in History and over the summer I participated in the History+ Program. As a daughter of Haitian immigrants, I was grateful I got to take Creole and be able to learn more about my culture and heritage. In my free time, I love watching sports, namely soccer and football. When I’m not doing that, I’m usually discovering new movies with my friends!

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke so far has been History of the Present(HIST124), because it was what sparked my desire to major in History!
