Class of 2027
Major in Biology, Minor in Chemistry, Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

I'm studying Biology with a particular interest in the entrepreneurship field. At Duke, I conduct research in the McNamara Lab, where I study the mechanisms underlying epilepsy. Beyond academics, I serve as the COO of Students Providing Aid, a global nonprofit focused on equitable access to first aid resources. I’ve also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Bio 201 and participated in DukeEngage in rural India, where I volunteered to help teach underserved children. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing the viola and staying active through fitness. Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career as a physician, where I hope to combine my passion for science, service, and global health.

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke was Psychology 101, which I took during my very first semester. Every lecture felt less like a class and more like a TED Talk—you’d walk in expecting a regular Tuesday morning lecture, and walk out questioning why you behave the way you do when someone cuts you off in traffic. What I loved most was how so many of the theories and concepts weren’t just abstract ideas, but things you could actually see play out in everyday life.
