Class of 2026
Majors in Statistics and Public Policy; Minor in Education

I am a junior from Phoenix, AZ. I am a double major in Statistics (with a concentration in Data Science) and Public Policy with a minor in Education; I am passionate about educational equity, data analytics, and social impact. On campus, I am involved in Duke Student Government and DTech in addition to working as a math and statistics Teaching Assistant, a researcher for a Bass Connections project about child maltreatment policy, an AmeriCorps member for Jumpstart, and a tour guide. This past summer, I interned on the Operations team of the Arizona Office of the Governor. Outside classes, I love football, Duke basketball, traveling, and reading. In Fall 2024, I will be studying abroad in Rome!

Favorite Class: I loved STA 313L: Advanced Data Visualization. This class built upon my favorite topics in STA 199L and I enjoyed the variety of concepts we learned about. Beyond strengthening my data visualization skills, this class also encouraged me to think creatively and I always looked forward to attending!
