Hello! My name is Ashley Padilla-Vences and I am a FGLI Latina from Austin, TX who loves thrifting, journaling, baking, and spending time with friends! My time at Duke has consisted of being surrounded by people in Mi Gente, Colorstack@Duke, and SHPE! Im always open to chat about the social, political, environmental intersections between society and technology and more! Im particularly passionate about giving back to my community and am always open to provide any advice or guidance to anyone in need :)
Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke has been Race, Gender, Class and Computing with Dr. Washington! It felt like the perfect class for me given my interests. Time passed by whenever I was sitting down in the lecture hall and I was always on time.
