Class of 2026
Major in Neuroscience
I am a Neuroscience major on the pre med track. My journey in neuroscience began when I was in the Cognitive Neuroscience & Law FOCUS program, which has inspired me to pursue this major, join the Cog Neuro Living Learning Community, and work on my own project with the Language, Music, and Dementia Bass Connections team. My interests lie in studying neurodegenerative diseases and finding ways to connect with elderly adults. Outside of the classroom, you can find me volunteering at Croasdaile Village with Adopt A Grandparent, playing piano at the Duke Hospital, or tinkering with the 3D printers and sticker-printing machine at the Co-Lab!
Favorite Class: It is so difficult to pick a favorite class at Duke, but I absolutely loved Sociology 265, "Drug Use and Abuse: Getting High in the United States". It is an engaging class with an amazing professor and it taught me how to break down complex societal issues into various perspectives, changing the way I approach and view society.
