Class of 2026
Majors in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and Economics

I'm a senior from Dubai, UAE studying Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and Economics. At Duke, I serve as the chief of staff for the Duke Student Government and play an active role in campus sustainability efforts as a Climate & Sustainability Green Devil with Duke Athletics and as a member of the Climate Commitment Advisory Council leadership team. I also serve as the lead editor of Research Africa Reviews, and studied abroad through the Duke in the Arab World program. This summer, I interned at the Boston Consulting Group and will be returning there after graduation. In my spare time, I love to run, visit coffee shops, and spend time outside with friends.

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke was From Ottoman Empire to the Modern Middle East, as it laid both the theoretical and historical background to explain current developments and phenomena in the Middle East. I loved the discussions in the class and it sparked ideas that led to my current thesis topic!
