Class of 2027
Majors in Psychology and Statistical Science, Certificate in Science and the Public

On campus, I currently do research at the Huettel lab. I was also a member of the Fall '24 cohort of the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Internship and studied risk factors for tobacco use through the ND-SURE research program over the summer. I am involved with the Psychology Majors' Union, the Duke Thomistic Institute, and the Duke Catholic Center, and also love performing with my a capella and tap dance groups! After Duke, I hope to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Favorite Class: My favorite class so far has been Science and Society with Dr. Misha Angrist. This class was so valuable to me as someone who wants to pursue a career in science because the discussions led me to reflect upon the role that science plays in society, and the responsibilities I have to the public as a researcher. I learned a way of thinking that I continue to practice as I take science courses more specific to my discipline and integrate what I learn into a broader context of what it means to conduct science.
