Class of 2026
Major in Evolutionary Anthropology; Minors in Chemistry and History

I am from Lake Wylie, South Carolina studying Evolutionary Anthropology, Chemistry and History. Within EvAnth, I am a member of the Pontzer Lab and focus on researching energetics related to polycystic ovarian syndrome. I am very involved with the arts at Duke and am a member of Duke Opera Theater, Hoof 'n' Horn, Duke Players, and Synergy Dance. I am also the Project Director for Project Edge and am a member of Phi Delta Epsilon. After graduation, I plan on attending medical school to pursue a career in oncology or endocrinology. Outside of school, I love singing, reading, working out, and spending time with friends!

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke has been EVANTH 231: Anatomy of the Lower Extremities. It was such an amazing experience to take a course with a cadaver lab component and to be taught by real orthopedic surgery residents. I learned so much about the human body and how to study anatomy, and I feel much more prepared for my future courses in medical school.
