Class of 2026
Major in Biology; Minor in African & African American Studies

On campus, I am the Executive Chief of Staff for the Black Student Alliance, a member of the service committee of the Black Women's Union, and a research assistant at the Lechler Lab of Dermatology. I am a huge fan of anything skincare and love self care nights! In my free time I love to go to the gym, go on walks, read self-improvement books, listen to music, and hang out with my friends. As of latest reports, there are only six Black female cardiothoracic surgeons in the United States, and my goal is to become the seventh! I am passionate about creating a more diverse medical environment and advocating for minority patients.

Favorite Class: Any class in the AAAS department because of the conversations that happen in those classrooms. Also, Women as Leaders with Professor Alexandra Zagbayou. This class was extremely empowering for young women.
