Majors in Psychology and Chemistry; Minor in Education
I’m studying psychology, with minors in chemistry and education. I’ve always been super interested in how kids think, and am completing my honors thesis at the Early Childhood Cognition Lab on moral development. I most recently interned in life sciences consulting and plan to pursue an MD/MBA dual degree, integrating clinical expertise with business and entrepreneurship at the healthcare systems level. Outside of that I’m the co-president of Duke Club Badminton, an organic chemistry TA, and a college applications advisor at the Emily K Center downtown. I love visiting new cities, super niche playlists, orange cats, and Candy Crush.
Favorite Class: Psychology of Consumers, which explores how marketing techniques are shaped by our knowledge of consumer behavior patterns and decision-making. In our final project, we chose a local vendor to analyze from a consumer psych lens, and came up with recommendations to increase their business. Really fun class that’s directly applicable to our everyday lives.
