Class of 2025
Majors in Public Policy and African & African American Studies; Minor in Marine Science and Conservation
I am an active member of Round Table and spent a semester at the Duke University Marine Lab. I am very passionate about social justice, environmental justice, and elasmobranchs (sharks, skates, and rays). I have worked with multiple nonprofits (Change the Chamber, Lobby for Climate, International Transformation Foundation, The Wilderness Society) and love to enjoy the outdoors, especially kayaking and rafting. I hope to get a PhD after graduation, then get some experience in my field before becoming a professor one day.
Favorite Class: Conflict Analysis in Africa because of the amazing Stephen Smith and complexity of the issues or Critical Marine Studies because of the flexibility to research what I wanted and how I wanted.
