Major in Evolutionary Anthropology: Minors in Chemistry and Education
I am a fourth-year David M. Rubenstein Scholar and WIN Scholar from San Antonio, Texas majoring in evolutionary anthropology and minoring in chemistry and education on the pre-medical track. I am passionate about basic science research, end of life care, and mending educational inequities particularly in higher education. As of now, I have a strong interest in Orthopaedics and biomechanics. On campus, I am involved in Camp Kesem, Krzyzewskiville, the Rajagopal Lab, Duke LIFE, the Emily K. Center, and Duke HomeCare and Hospice. Some of my favorite things are coffee, Duke basketball, and my dog back home!
Favorite Class: Anatomy of the Lower Extremity! This was my first Evolutionary Anthropology course and truly opened my eyes to this incredible department. A must take class for sure!
