Durham Giving Project

HOUSECS 59.11

Spring 2021

M, 5:30-7pm, online

Durham Giving Project is a course that exposes students to various issues in Durham and pushes them to think of different philanthropic methods for serving nonprofits in this city and beyond. Classes will alternate between units on the history of Durham and understanding different fundraising methods for local nonprofits. These two elements go hand-in-hand as it is part of our moral imperative to understand the ethics of fundraising and how it helps the Durham community alleviate different issues that it faces.
